save the elephants(STE) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1993 by lain douglas- Hamiton. its main aims are to make sure elephants don't die out and to protect their natural habitats.The organisation focuses on three main areas: protection,research,and awereness.in terms of protection,STE works to stop the illegal hunting of elephants,especially in Africa and Asia,where this issue is most serious.for research,they collaborate with scientists and experts to study elephant behaviour and find the better way to protect them.Additionally,STE raises public awareness about the importance of elephant conservation through films,television,and new media sources.up to now,the organisation has supported 335 projects in 40 countries.Thanks to its effort,more and more people are joining hands to save these gentle giants.
