One natural disaster that often occurs in Vietnam is flooding. Due to its long coastline and tropical monsoon climate, Vietnam frequently experiences heavy rains, especially during the rainy season from June to November. Floods are common in both rural and urban areas, causing severe damage to homes, roads, and farmland. In central Vietnam, typhoons often bring intense rain and strong winds, making the situation worse. Flooding disrupts daily life, affects transportation, and can lead to loss of lives and crops, greatly impacting the local economy and communities.
