In our fast-paced society, being independent is a crucial skill a student must have, especially being able to learn by themself without any guidance. Self-study plays an important roles in every student life but it is really effective? Some say they do, some thinks the opposite. In this article, im going to explain why self-study is a double-edged sword
To begin with, studying by yourself can greatly enchance your studies at your own pace, dive into subjects that you genuinly enjoy without limits. Moreover, this personalized approach can lead to a deeper understanding in a wider range of information. In addition, self-study fosters essential skills such as self-discipline and critical thinking-qualities that are valuable for lifelong learning.
On the other hands, it demands a high degree of motivation and organizational skills to stay ficused and on track. The lack of a structured learning environment and immediate feedback from instructors can be a hurdle for some. Furthermore, self-learners may encounter challenges in identifying reliable resources, staying updated with current knowledge, and avoiding potential misconceptions
