-Cooking (sometimes I help my mom cook, like washing vegetables or watching the soup so it doesn’t boil over 🤡) -Cleaning the house (sweeping, mopping, or taking out the trash – not every day though 🤫) -Washing the dishes (I wash dishes after meals, even if sometimes it's just my own cup 😎) -Doing the laundry (I help hang the clothes, sometimes bring them in... and forget to fold them) -Taking care of my younger siblings (I babysit my siblings and keep them quiet with TikTok 😭) -Buying groceries (I go to the market and buy stuff from the list – even if I sometimes buy the wrong thing) -Watering the plants (I water the plants… sometimes even the neighbor’s plants by accident 😅)
Honestly, I’m not exactly the most helpful person in my family — I’m more like the decorative plant that occasionally moves. But hey, I still try. Sometimes I wash the dishes… when they’re already stacked so high it becomes a Jenga game. I sweep the floor too, if my favorite show gets interrupted. Occasionally, I “supervise” my siblings doing chores, which totally counts as support, right? I also help by not burning the house down when I cook noodles (a rare miracle). And let’s not forget, I save electricity by sleeping all day. In conclusion, I might not be a household hero, but I help in my own chaotic way — a little effort, a lot of vibe.
If there's anything that truly stresses me out, it's not exams, schoolwork, or people talking trash — it's when the Wi-Fi dies, the electricity cuts off, or my phone goes missing. Sounds dumb? Maybe. But living in the digital age without internet is like being thrown back into the Stone Age — no TikTok, no YouTube, no DMs, and absolutely no way to scream into the void in peace. I start pacing like a caged tiger, scrolling through old photos just to feel something, blasting offline music like it's a lifeline. It’s not the end of the world, but damn, it feels close. While others are worried about life goals, I’m here losing my mind over loading screens. No cap, life without Wi-Fi is pain — first-world pain, but pain nonetheless.
Life in the countryside can be very peaceful and beautiful. I really like the fresh air, the quiet surroundings, and the green fields everywhere. People in the countryside are often friendly and kind, which makes the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. Living there also costs less, which is a big advantage. However, there are still a few things that I don’t really enjoy. The transport system is not very convenient, and it’s hard to find good schools or entertainment places like parks or zoos. Also, some areas don’t have modern facilities, which can be a bit uncomfortable. I think the countryside is a lovely place to visit and relax, but I would still prefer living in the city where life is more active and convenient.
Hi Emma, How are you? I don’t hang out with friends much, so in my free time, I usually stay at home. I love listening to scary stories or audio books online—they keep me entertained and sometimes give me chills (in a good way!). I also scroll through TikTok, watch movies, or chat with an AI for fun. Sometimes, I just laugh at silly things on my phone. These activities help me relax, especially after a stressful day. What about you? What do you usually do in your free time? Best, [ Quynh Anh ]
1. When do you usually have free time? I usually have free time late at night, around 10 p.m., after I’ve finished scrolling social media or doing personal things. 2. What do you usually do with your friends in your free time? I don’t really hang out with friends. Most of the time, I just scroll through TikTok, watch movies, chat with AI, and laugh at random things by myself. 3. Why do you do these activities? Because they help me escape from stress, feel less lonely, and enjoy my own little world.
