Last summer, I had an unforgettable summer holiday with my family in Dalat. Dalat is about 300 km to the north of HCM city. This city is famous for its romantic places, bright weather and delicious food. Additionally, it is known as love city in VN because it attracts large number of couples to visit, peaceful and beautiful landscape. When my family got there, we hired a hotel room in city center near Ho Xuan Huong lake and walked by the lake every nights. Beside, we also had good time to take part in several outdoor activities such as: visiting night market, flower park; tasting spring roll and soy milk. My sister and I brought many souvenirs from a store in order to give them for our friends and relatives. In second day, my family had a chance to visit Clay Village- a mini model, which describes ancient and modern Dalat. The construction is a masterpiece of art and attracts both Vietnamese and foreign tourists. Moreover, there is Langbiang so that visitors can hike climbing and enjoy roasted meats at the top of the mountain. However, my family chose to move by a jeep because nobody wants to be exhausted when getting there. It’s such a wonderful sightseeing trip. In the next few days, we went to Crazy House, which used to belong to Hang Nga- daughter of Truong Chinh. The villa has strange architecture with unique style as a mysterious castle. The tourists are really impressed with this house. After a week in Dalat, we decided to come back home. My parents go back to work at the office and I go bạck to school for a new year study. It’s an enjoyable holiday and I hope having a chance to go back Dalat in a near future.

In the past, the life was not as convenient as today. There was no modern equipments, electricity and the children didn't have to go to school,thay used to stay at home and do chores. The adult people usually worked on the farm. There weren't any motorbikes, cars or planes so the people used to travel on foot. The air was extremely fresh because there was no big factories and they were not as many as now.

There are a lot of activities that you can do in your leisure time. Some people are so tired of work that they prefer to use their free time just for resting and sleeping. Others spend their free time on their favourite activities. For example, they listen to music, play their favourite musical instrument, go on a picnic, take a trip, go to the nature and enjoy the fresh air, hang out with their friends, go partying, go shopping, visit their relatives, spend some time with their kids and play games with them, read and write, watch TV, watch movies or cartoons, go to the theatre, surf the net, cook, do some gardening, etc. Some people like me choose sports to enjoy their free time. In my opinion, living in the countryside has its own pros and cons. According to benefits, it has fresh air, quite environment and friendly neighbors. Firstly, you have a healthy life. There are no dust, no smoke and no traffic jam. The air is fresh and the rain is also very clean. You can get raging water to cook rice and certainly have and tasted meal. Secondly, living in the countryside is peacful. It is very quiet to relax after working or there are many beautiful wide fields and fresh air.Finally, there are no separations in your town. Your neighors are friendly and helpful. They are really best friends. They will help you pleasently if you have trouble. Each problem has its solution anf your neighbors will share it for you. In conclusion, I prefer to live in the countryside, but I don't want to live there permanently.
My hobby is playing badminton. It helps me relax after many stress hours and improves my helth. First of all, playing badminton makes me reduce stress. I always spend a hour each day playing badminton with my father. I often complete my homework effectually, and so my parents often encourages me to play it everyday. Secondly, playing badminton brings me become more and more confident. It helps me make friends with many people. Sometimes, I join competitive matches and chat with various types of people. Badminton is my favourite sport and I usually play it in my free time. To play badminton the best, I must have speed, strength and exquisite. Sometimes, I play it with my best friends or my parents. Besides playing badminton provide for my body with the required energy to help me go through each day. Moreover, playing badminton is simple for everybody. The shuttlecock which acts like the ball is made from goose feathers attached to a small piece of cork. When playing, I need to smash the light shuttlecock towards the opponent’s direction. To me, badminton is the most fantasic sport in the world.

My favorite sport is badminton. It is an individual and team sport. It can last about an hour and a half. It needs at least two players, maybe more. Unlike football, badminton just needs a smaller campus to play, it needs tools like rackets, balls, nets. The two players have to take turns sending the bridge over the network until it hits the ground. Although quite easy, it also takes a lot of practical and flexible skill. In addition, badminton also helps us to be healthy and train our muscles. I love it so much, I often play it on holidays because it makes me feel more at ease after hard study days.
