It was a sunny morning, and a group of excited children boarded a large tour bus to visit the Safari Park. A big sign by the entrance read, “DO NOT OPEN WINDOWS,” but the children were too thrilled to think much about it.
As they entered the park, the bus driver welcomed them warmly and shared a few rules to ensure everyone had a safe and enjoyable trip. They drove past magnificent animals roaming freely-lions, giraffes, and even baboons.
One inquisitive girl on the bus, Rosie, was especially fascinated by a monkey that approached the vehicle. She couldn’t resist leaning out of the window, despite the warning. She held a banana in her hand, offering it to the curious animal. The monkey eagerly snatched the treat, making everyone on the bus laugh nervously. Rosie, however, didn’t realize that her small action might lead to trouble.
Moments later, the monkey jumped onto the bus! Chaos erupted. The other children screamed, and Rosie froze in shock. While some laughed nervously, others quickly hid behind the seats. Two clever children, Priya and Jonah, worked together to guide the monkey toward the back of the bus while keeping everyone calm.
The mischievous monkey found an empty seat, lounged back as if it were the king of the bus, and seemed quite content. As the kids stared at the monkey, unsure of what to do, the driver calmly stopped the vehicle right near the exit of the park. He opened the door, gesturing for the monkey to leave. Reluctantly, the monkey hopped off the bus, and before heading back to its group, it turned around one last time as if to say, "Thank you for the banana!"
The children sighed with relief as the bus drove out of the Safari Park. Rosie apologized to everyone for not following the rules, and the driver reminded the children that rules exist for everyone’s safety-including theirs and the animals’. On their way home, they all agreed it was an adventure they’d never forget!
