Dear Mr.Lan,
English is becoming more and more important under the trend of globalization. However, after learning English for a few years, my English is not as good as I wish. In my opinion, there are several reasons. I spent little time learning English unless there are English examinations. I focused the most time and energy on preparing for passing the English exams.
I had few opportunities to practise speaking English. I can write English but I cannot speaking English well.
I think I should spend more time to study English and try to find oportunities to practise speaking with native speakers to improve my English listening nad speaking skills.
I firmly believe that I will improve my English by hard work and persistence in the future.

Dear Mr. Tung,
Hardly a day goes by without my thankfulness to you. From the bottom of my heart, you are not only an English teacher but also a close friend encouraging me in such hard cases. At the age of 15, when I was a lazy pupil and felt that learning was very boring, you came and gave me the inspiration with no study enforcement but your advice about my future. If you had just cared me when you were my head teacher, perhaps you would have been other teachers. However, you always contact me, give me good counsel for my learning and my daily life. That’s why, you are my second - father.

I have a memorable childhood which has many experiences. One of the experiences I remember most is the first time I was invited to a birthday party. I was a 6-year-old girl and I had a bestfriend whose name is Lisa. We were very close and seemed we couldn’t live without each other until her birhtday. It was a beautiful morning when Lisa invited me to her birthday party and had no idea about how great her party would be if she didn’t ask me to attend. I was very happy and decided to make my bestfriend surprise by giving her a puppy as a present. Lisa didn’t dog or any animal but I almost forgot about that. I was confident to give her my present in her birthday and immediately realized that she didn’t my little dog which I myself chose to buy 3 days ago. While the party was going on, I stood in a corner of the room and watched how much she loved other normal presents such as teddy bear, dolls or crayons. I felt dissapointed but that was not the worst thing. About 20 mintues later, Lisa’s father gave a sign that was the time to taking out a birthday cake. It was the biggest birthday cake I had ever seen. The light went off. As soon as it went on, somebody screamed “It’s a puppy in the cake”. Everyone was surprise and they recognized that was my puppy. They looked at the puppy and then looked at me. I glanced to Lisa. She said nothing and about to cried. I was very confused and ashamed. I carried my puppy, said sorry to Lisa and ran out of the party. I couldn’t believe that I had just broken my bestfriend’s birthday cake because of a silly decision. I learned that never bring any animal with me to a party, especially bestfriend’s birthday party. It’s an experience that I won’t forget for the rest of my life. Luckily Lisa forgave me and we are still friend up to now. She always reminded me about her 6th birthday and we laughed a lot.

All of the special holidays in my country, I Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...
Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

Dear Kinomoto Nana,
I feel very excited because our Tet holiday is coming. This year I will learn how to make banh chung from my parents. It must be very interesting. I will also receive a special gift from my parents since I have got a lot of good marks in my final examination. I can't wait. This New Year's Eve I won't go out because it will be very cold.
You know, at Tet, people should give children lucky money in red envelopes. In addition, people shouldn't break things because it may bring bad luck, especially on the first day of the New Year.

My home village is now different from the village in my father's story. in his story, my village is very poor.
Everyone live a hard life that time. People lack of food, of money. Now, it is different. People don't live a hard life anymore. They have enough food, enough money, everyone got a house, and many more things. The only things that doesn't change is sentiment. Everyone always be very happy. They live together, help each other when they need, that is a luxury.
That makes my village a wonderful place for everyone. People are just farmer, but they solidarity in the face of penury. And when they have money in their hands, they still solidarity they are friendly with others, they are helpful, they are good people. That's about people.
Landscape is still like the old days. That river, that mountain. Nature is harmony with people. People live with nature, people product things of nature, and nature always open-handed with people, give them resource for them to build their house. That is what people seek, and they live with it very well.
That's all I can say about my home village, in my opinion, my village is a wonderful place. War does not determine who is right, only who is left:" Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country"

I am writing this letter to express my disappointment with the quality of service from your company. I booked online a package tour on the website of your company but unfortunately, the trip did not live up to my expectations.
When it comes to my trip, I was deeply dissatisfied not only with delayed flight but also low- quality service from your company. As I booked all- inclusive vacation package, the accomodation at least should have provided necessities to satisfy my demands but it did not. For three days, I had to live cramped in a narrow and lightly furnished room. In addition to, the air conditioner and the shower were out of order, which really annoyed me. Moreover, a visit to the zoo was cancelled unwarrantedly only because of rainy weather.
In this worst case scenario, I expect to receive a refund from your company for all the charges I paid or any measures you could take to compensate for me. I look forward to a swift solution to this matter.

Dear Sir,
My name is Adison who purchased online a dress from your shop and my order number is #26102001. However, against all my expectations, I was fairly dissatisfied with quality of the product and its delayed arrival.
Firstly, I placed the order online on 15th January. But not until two weeks had gone by did I receive this product while you promised to send it to me for around 6 days. Secondly, the product I got is faulty one and it is far different from what I saw on the website. The cloth material and patterns of the dress only have a few similarities in comparison with the product you suggested me. In addition to, you gave me a yellow one instead of sending me a white dress as I ordered.
I will not demand a refund but please arrange for a replacement of this product at the earliest. I hope that this problem will be solved promptly.

How are you these days? Are you so well? Do you remember the days that we go to school together,do homework together... But now you aren't beside me. I'm so sad because I don't have any good friends like you. You are the best friends of mine.. These days, I learn so good. But I really hate Physical, it is too difficult for me. I just have point 1. But the teacher is so cruel to, like other teacher they didn't record in skull, she record point 1 in skull. So my teacher fan me.. It;s too unjusty.... The other subject is good. But I really..really hate Physicals

Thanks for your letter, I'm pleased to hear that you and your family are well. Now I write this letter to tell you about my study ay school. I received my first semester report last week. I got good grades for Science, English and History, but my math result was poor. My math teacher asked me to spend more time on it. I must study harder next semester in order to improve it.
