Thời gian thấm thoát trôi đi, đã ba năm rồi, tôi vẫn còn nhớ. Hồi học lớp Hai, tôi và Quỳnh rủ nhau ra vườn hoa trong trường chơi vào giờ giải lao.

   Buổi sáng hôm ấy là một buổi sáng mùa xuân, không khí ấm áp, chúng tôi tha hồ hít thở bầu không khí trong lành. Vườn trường có nhiều sắc hoa. Tôi thích nhất là cây hoa cúc vàng. Nó nhiều cánh, nhị ở giữa, cánh hoa mềm mại xếp đều vào nhau; hương hoa thơm thoang thoảng và trông thật dễ thương, sắc hoa màu vàng rực rỡ. Tôi nói:

   - Quỳnh ơi, xem kìa, hoa cúc mới đẹp làm sao!

Quỳnh bĩu môi:

   - Ờ đẹp thật! Nhưng làm sao đẹp bằng hoa hồng. Hoa hồng là bà chúa của các loài hoa.

   Tôi và Quỳnh mải tranh cãi với nhau, ai cũng cho ý mình là đúng và có lí cả. Suốt thời gian đầu Quỳnh vẫn bảo vệ ý đúng của mình. Quỳnh giận tôi thật rồi! Từ góc vườn, bác bảo vệ lại gần chúng tôi:

   - Này hai cháu, từ nãy đến giờ bác đã nghe hai cháu tranh cãi với nhau việc hoa nào đẹp hơn rồi. Bây giờ bác nói cho hai cháu nghe nhé: “Hoa nào cũng đẹp, mỗi hoa có một vẻ đẹp riêng. Cái chính là chúng ta phải biết chăm sóc cho hoa đẹp hơn, tươi hơn và đâm chồi để nở ra nhiều hoa khác”. Tôi và Quỳnh nghe bác nói mới hiểu ra. Lúc bấy giờ chúng tôi nhìn nhau với ánh mắt vui vẻ như ban đầu. Vườn hoa trước mắt chúng tôi lúc bấy giờ như đẹp hơn.

   Bây giờ chúng tôi đã lớn. Ba năm qua, kỉ niệm thời thơ ấu vẫn đọng mãi trong tôi: Một tình bạn đẹp, một kỉ niệm khó quên.

I and Hung are team mates in our school’s soccer team, and that is the reason we became best friends. At first we did not know each other, but we quickly became close after just a few weeks. Hung is a good player, so he always helps me prace to improve my skills. In order to thank him, I become his instructor in some of the subjects in class. I am as tall and slim as Hung, and many people say that we look brothers. In fact, we are even closer than brothers. We can share almost everything, from feelings to clothes and hobbies. I always proud of our friend ship, and we will keep it this as long as we can.

My favourite sport is badminton. It’s an individual sport and a team sport. It may last about 1:30 hours. There are about 2 or 4 players. It needs some equipment: racket, shutlecock, net.

 

I've played several games, both indoor and outdoor games, and still try to play whenever I get time. Among those games, I enjoyed playing chess more than others. Chess is an indoor game where two players paripate. This game does not involve any major physical movements other outdoor games but a chess player has to use his/her brain and make game plans to defeat the opponent.
I mostly play this game with my friends and cousins. Sometimes I play it with my father and senior relatives. Since playing chess requires only placing the board on a surface and sitting position of the two paripating players, it is convenient to play chess almost anywhere. I mostly play it at our veranda, garden or bedroom. I enjoy this game because I have a fascination for this game from my childhood and I really the overall theme and barnstorming involved in this game. It's a thought-provoking game that gives the paripating players to use their brains. A player can apply his/her strategy, and then allure the opponent to fall into a trap which is much a real battlefield.
It's not a game where someone would only use the physical movements rather the game requires a perfect game plan, finding weaknesses of the opponent and a battle strategy. This game gives you a feel of being the King of a regime where you decide your country men's fate. For all those reasons this is a very interesting and enjoyable game to me.

After many pressure in life, one individual always has their own home to come back called country and Vietnam is my beautiful country. Although it is small, it has several beautiful landscape and tourist attraction. I can list out: Ha Long bay, Phong Nha cave, Nha Trang beach, Hoi An old town and so on. VN is famous for its green field, peaceful village and friendly people. Vietnamese are kind, humble, honest as well as hospitable. Besides, there are other good personalities such as: brave, patience, diligence. Country is an abstract definition including all of the most familiar things belonged to one spirit. Country plays a crucial role in nurturing one spirit and lifestyle. Each individual is a mirror reflects country’s tradition, culture, habits and customs. Specifically, there are several customs in different areas as VN has 54 ethnic groups. Each group has their own national character, which distinguish them from others. Therefore, protecting and preserving national character are Vietnamese’s duty from very old days. If there is a chance to visit our country, don’t hesitate to catch it cause VN maintains a lot of undiscovered mystery. I love VN and people here so much and I hope foreign tourists will visit my country one future day.

Hello, I want you to know my hometown. My hometown is too hot almost the entire year – about 33 degrees. So the nights are the good time to play. It’s nice to go to the restaurant, bar to meet friends and have a drink something. There are beaches here, beautiful beaches and I love to go swimming. Sometimes, I go out or just stay home and watch TV. People here are peaceful and friendly.
