Water polo is a new sport at Vinabrita school, but they have a good team now. The students practice after school on Thursday at the Northside Pool and they’re joining in the National Schools Competition.
There are seven players in a water polo team. In water polo, the players don’t use their feet – they catch and throw the ball with one hand. And they never stop swimming. They have to swim up and down a 30-metre pool lots of time. If they aren’t strong, water polo isn’t the sport for them! The Vinabrita’s students really enjoy being part of a water polo team.
