Hello, my name is Giang. I am 24 years old, and now I’m living with my family in Ha Tinh province. In my country, spring is the best season of the year because it has Tet holiday. In Tet holiday, the streets are very beautiful with green trees, flowers, and funny noisy. In every house, there are a big tree with many love flowers and plants. Any things else? Yes, there are a lot of delicious drinks, cakes and candies. In Tet holiday, children have lucky money from adults. It’s so great! We enjoy a happy Tet holiday every year. Do you know out happy holiday in spring? It’s Tet holiday.

Welcome 2022! Our best occasion of the year is Lunar new year/ Tet. That's the time we say the last goodbye to 2021 and let the new year spread the happiness. This is the most glorious festival and also the first. In Vietnam we celebrate the new year's eve by cleaning and decorating the house with lights. After January fades, in the 1st of February, it is no longer as new year's eve anymore, it becomes Lunar new year. This festival is much bigger and more excellent. We can watch the glorious and colorful fireworks display in the evening. Before that, our tradition is children should pluck a leaf and plant it at home, as it is called fortune to wish and think of luckiness. Then they sat and wait for the fireworks. Next, they come home and recieve lucky  money from adults. The main traditon food is Banh Chung and it is made from sky rice and meat. It is a green square cake was cut into 8 pieces. That's the value of Tet. Sadly, according to the news I read, as because of the covid-19- a small but dangerous creature- has exploded so we won't be able to watch fireworks.
