Thì hiện tại đơn trong câu thường có những từ sau: Every, always, often , usually, rarely , generally, frequently.

Cách dùng thì hiện tại đơn:

• Thì hiện tại đơn nói về một sự thật hiển nhiên, một chân lý đúng.

Ex: The sun rises in the East and sets in the West.

• Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả 1 thói quen , một hành động thường xảy ra ở hiện tại.

Ex:I get up early every morning.

• Để nói lên khả năng của một người

Ex : Tùng plays tennis very well.

• Thì hiện tại đơn còn được dùng để nói về một dự định trong tương lại

EX:The football match starts at 20 o’clock.

• Lưu ý : ta thêm “es” sau các động từ tận cùng là : O, S, X, CH, SH.

Dấu hiệu nhận biết thì hiện tại tiếp diễn:

Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn trong câu thường có những cụm từ sau: At present, at the moment, now, right now, at, look, listen.…

Cách dùng:

• Diễn tả  hành động đang diễn ra và kéo dài trong hiện tại.

Ex: She is going to school at the moment.

• Dùng để đề nghị, cảnh báo, mệnh lệnh.

Ex: Be quiet! The baby is sleeping in the bedroom.

• Thì này còn diễn tả 1 hành động xảy ra lặp đi lặp lại dùng với phó từ ALWAYS

Ex : He is always borrowing our books and then he doesn’t remember.

• Dùng để diễn tả một hành động sắp xảy ra trong tương lai theo kế hoạch đã định trước

Ex: I am flying to Moscow tomorrow.

• Diễn tả sự không hài lòng hoặc phàn nàn về việc gì đó khi trong câu có  “always”

Ex: She is always coming late.
Lưu ý : Không dùng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn với các động từ chỉ tri giác, nhận thức  như : to be, see, hear,feel, realize, seem, remember, forget, understand, know, , want , glance, think, smell, love. hate ……….

Ex: He wants to go for a cinema at the moment.

3. Thì quá khứ đơn (Simple Past):

Khẳng định:S + was/were + V2/ED + O
Phủ định: S + was/were + not+ V2/ED + O

Dấu hiệu nhận biết:

Các từ thường xuất hiện trong thì quá khứ đơn: Yesterday, ago , last night/ last week/ last month/ last year, ago(cách đây), when.

Cách dùng:

Dùng thì quá khứ đơn khi nói về một hành động đã xảy ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ.
EX:

I went to the concert last week .
I met him yesterday.

Khẳng định: S + was/were + V_ing + O
Phủ định:S + was/were+ not + V_ing + O

• Trong câu có trạng từ thời gian trong quá khứ với thời điểm xác định.
  •  At +thời gian quá khứ (at 5 o’clock last night,…)
  •  At this time + thời gian quá khứ. (at this time one weeks ago, …)
  • In + năm trong quá khứ (in 2010, in 2015)
  • In the past
• Khi câu có “when” nói về một hành động đang xảy ra thì có một hành động khác chen ngang vào.

5. Thì hiện tại hoàn thành (Present Perfect):

Khẳng định:S + have/ has + V3/ED+ O

Phủ định:S + have/ has+ NOT + V3/ED+ O

Dấu hiệu :

Trong thì hiện tại đơn thường có những từ sau: Already, not…yet, just, ever, never, since, for, recenthy, before…

Cách dùng

• Nói về một hành động xảy ra trong quá khứ, kéo dài đến hiện tại, có thể xảy ra trong tương lai.

EX: John have worked for this company since 2005.

• Nói về hành động xảy ra trong quá khứ nhưng không xác định được thời gian, và tập trung  vào kết quả.

EX: I have met him several times

• Dùng để nói về hành động xảy ra  trong quá khứ diễn ra liên tục, tiếp tục kéo dài đến hiện tại.

EX: I have been working for 3 hours.

• Dùng để diễn tả hành động xảy ra trong quá khứ nhưng kết quả của nó vẫn còn ở hiện tại.

EX: I am very tired now because I have been working hard for 10 hours.

9. Tương lai đơn (Simple Future):

Khẳng định:S + shall/will + V(infinitive) + O

Phủ định: S + shall/will +not+ V(infinitive) + O

Nghi vấn: Shall/will+S + V(infinitive) + O ?

Dấu hiệu:

Tomorrow, Next day/ Next week/ next month/ next year,  in + thời gian…

Cách dùng:

• Diễn tả dự định nhất thời xảy ra ngay tại lúc nói.

EX: Are you going to the Cinema? I will go with you.

• Nói về một dự đoán không có căn cứ.

EX: I think he will come to the party.

• Khi muốn yêu cầu, đề nghị.

EX: Will you please bring me a cellphone?

10. Thì tương lai tiếp diễn (Future Continuous):

Khẳng định: S + shall/will + be + V-ing+ O
Phủ định: S + shall/will + not + be + V-ing
Nghi vấn: Shall/Will+S + be + V-ing ?

next year, next week, next time, in the future, and soon.

Cách dùng :

• Dùng để nói về một hành động xảy ra trong tương lai tại thời điểm xác định.

EX: At 10 o’clock tomorrow, my friends and I will be going to the museum.

• Dùng nói về một hành động đang xảy ra trong tương lai thì có hành động khác chen vào.

EX:When you come tomorrow, they will be playing football.

11. Thì tương lai hoàn thành (Future Perfect)

Khẳng định:S + shall/will + have + V3/ED
Phủ định: S + shall/will + not + have + V3/ED
Nghi vấn: Shall/Will+ S + have + V3/ED ?

• By + thời gian tương lai, By the end of + thời gian trong tương lai, by the time …
• Before + thời gian tương lai

Cách dùng :

• Dùng để nói về một hành động hoàn thành trước một thời điểm xác định trong tương lai. EX: I will have finished my job  before 7 o’clock this evening.
• Dùng để nói về một hành động hoàn thành trước một hành động khác trong tương lai.
  I will have done the exercise before the teacher come tomorrow.

12. Tương Lai Hoàn Thành Tiếp Diễn (Future Perfect Continuous):

Khẳng định: S + shall/will + have been + V-ing + O

It is said that a good classroom creates friendly environment for student to learn and discover the world. It must be designed with wood desk and chair, large board, fan or air condition system, fresh atmosphere, as well as modern projector and other needed equipment. At the top of the board is always a photo of Ho Chi Minh. It’s a fundamental rule of every class so that students look up to their good example and learn from him. High tech devices are necessary for classroom because it is easier for teacher to apply new teaching method; moreover, student is more interested in studying through tablets. I want to describe in detail my classroom in primary school. Beside all the things I listed out, it is decorated with ornamental trees to create natural greenery. In the end of the room there are a lot of vivid picture, which pick up a child’s curiosity and imagination. The photos are about several topics in life : wild animal, nature, universe, number and math,… Besides, there is often a clock hang on the wall. It consists of 1 door and 4 windows; therefore, we can save electricity from light and fan when opening all the windows. A classroom must be equipped with wastebasket, towel, bloom and mop in order for student to clean, tidy up their learning environment. Facility of a classroom has great effect on the way student’s think and behave. Hence, it is highly recommend that government construct more school and pay more attention on education.

My classroom has four rows of tables, neatly arranged, with a blackboard on the top, and a teacher's desk on the left. Next to the teacher's desk is a study cabinet for us. We it whenever we open the closet to get the learning tools to illustrate our lesson. Because the lesson is vividly illustrated with pictures, sometimes the story is made of pictures shown on the board.

I love my class, love my teacher, love my friends because we have been together for 4 years. I love the teacher because she often makes learning tools so beautiful that she is always easy to remember when studying.

I study in a very big school. In my city it is the most famous school.. My class room is on the ground floor. My class room is very spacious. It is airy and well ventilated. It has four ceiling fans in it which are sufficient for all the students sitting inside the room.

At a little distance from my classroom is the administrative block. It has spacious verandahs on two sides. It has two doors which ensure cross ventilation. There is also a large window in one of the walls. On both sides, beyond the verandahs, there are small passages and then grassy lawns which also have some flowers growing in flower pots.

My class is very neat and clean.. It has 18 benches for students to sit. Two students can sit together on a bench. I sit with my best friend. Our Bench has a shelf to keep books. It has two doors and three big windows. The walls are white and clean.

In my classroom there are pictures of eminent persons, paintings, charts by students, maps etc. there is a low dais along one wall of the room. On the dais is a table and chair for the teacher. Behind the dais is blackboard for the teacher to write on with a chalk. The students sit facing the blackboard.

Here are two categories of students in my classroom. The dullards and shirkers. Those who are love it. In the class room that a student’s personality is really formed. It is for this reason that I am in the class- room most attentively. It is only the foolish few who sometimes spoil the real value of studies as they cannot appreciate the value of studies and have to repent later in life.

Trong lớp học của tôi có hình ảnh của những người nổi tiếng, tranh vẽ, biểu đồ của học sinh, bản đồ,… có một bục giảng thấp dọc theo một bức tường của căn phòng. Trên bục giảng là bàn và ghế cho giáo viên. Đằng sau bục là bảng đen cho giáo viên. Các học sinh ngồi đối diện với chiếc bảng đen.

Đây là hai kiểu học sinh trong lớp học của tôi. Những kẻ chậm chạp và hay trốn học. Những người yêu thích học. Trong lớp học, tính cách của một học sinh thực sự được định hình. Chính vì lý do này mà tôi ở trong lớp học một cách chăm chú. Đó chỉ là những người ngu ngốc đôi khi làm hỏng giá trị thực sự của việc học hành vì họ không thể đánh giá cao giá trị của việc học và sau này phải ăn năn trong cuộc sống.
