My name's Fred and I love going on holiday. For our holiday last year, we went to an island. We travelled there by plane. That was exciting too!

It was hot and sunny every day on the island, but sometimes it rained a lot at night.

The food there was fantas.We ate a lot of pineapples, kiwis and fish and one day, Dad cooked pancakes for us which we had with lemon sauce! We went for long walks along the beach and on our last day, I saw some jellyfish! Mum thought they were scary, but I loved them. I took my tablet to take photos of everything and play games on and I brought back some really pretty shells. I gave the best one to my grandma. She loved it.

Grace works at a children's hospital which is in the city centre. She's a (1) nurse Her work changes every week and sometimes, she has to work at night.

Last Tuesday, Grace slept in the day and woke up in the evening. She cooked (2) fish and chips for her family's dinner, but Grace only wanted a cup of coffee! After their dinner. Grace's family watched TV and then went to bed but Grace had to get into her car and (3) drive to work.

When Grace came home on Wednesday morning, she was really tired and very (4) hungry ! She sat down at the table to have her favourite dinner - pasta !
