1/ Khi main verb ở thời HIỆN TẠI

Công thức: 
People/they + think/say/suppose/believe/consider/report.....+ that + clause.
>> Bị động:
a/ It's + thought/said/ supposed/believed/considered/reported...+ that + clause
( trong đó clause = S + Vinf + O)
b/ Động từ trong clause để ở thì HTDG hoặc TLĐ
S + am/is/are + thought/ said/supposed... + to + Vinf
VD: People say that he is a good doctor.
>> It's said that he is a good doctor.
He is said to be a good doctor.
c/ Động từ trong clause để ở thời QKDG hoặc HTHT.
S + am/is/are + thought/ said/ supposed... + to + have + P2.
VD: People think he stole my car.
>> It's thought he stole my car.
He is thought to have stolen my car.

2/ Khi main verb ở thời QUÁ KHỨ.

Công thức:

1. Cách dùng của câu bị động

a) Dùng câu bị động khi không muốn ám chỉ tác nhân gây ra hành động:

 Dùng  “by + tân ngữ O” là người

   Eg: They stole her money

               Her money was stolen (by them)

 Dùng “with + tân ngữ (O)” là vật

   Eg: Smoke filled the room

              The room was filled with smoke

b) Khi viết về ngày sinh luôn viết ở quá khứ bị động

    S + was/were + born ……………

    Eg: I was born in 1994

Các điểm lưu ý:

c) Vị trí các trạng từ trong câu bị động

+ Có 1 số động từ không bao giờ đổi sang bị động: seem, appear, have.

+ Trạng từ cách thức đuôi “ly” đứng trước P_II   

Eg: The lesson is carefully written in the notebook

+ Nếu trong câu chủ động chủ ngữ là nobody, no one thì khi đổi sang bị động, động từ sẽ để ở thể phủ định.

* BỊ ĐỘNG TRONG TRƯỜNG HỢP 2 TÂN NGỮ.

Trong đó: Oi = Indirect Object.
Od = Direct Object.
Công thức: S + V + Oi + Od

>> Bị động:
1/ Oi + be + P2( of V) + Od.
2/ Od + be + P2( of V) + to Oi.
( riêng động từ " buy" dùng giới từ " for" ).
EX: My friend gave me a present on my birthday.
>> A present was given to me by my friend on my birthday.
I was given a present on my birthday by my friend.
II/ CÁC TRƯỜNG HỢP ĐẶC BIỆT:

1/ It's your duty to+Vinf
>>> Bị động: You're supposed to+Vinf
EX: It's your duty to make tea today.
>> You are supposed to make tea today.

2/ It's impossible to+Vinf
>>> Bị động: S + can't + be + P2
EX: It's impossible to solve this problem.
>> This problem can't be solve.

3/ It's necessary to + Vinf
>>> Bị động: S + should/ must + be +P2
EX: It's necessary for you to type this letter.
>> This letter should/ must be typed by you.

4/ Mệnh lệnh thức + Object.
>>> Bị động: S + should/must + be +P2.
EX: Turn on the lights!
>> The lights should be turned on.

III/ BỊ ĐỘNG CỦA ĐỘNG TỪ MAKE/ LET.

Công thức chủ động : S + make/ let + sb+ Vinf.
>>> Bị động: S + make/ let + to + Vinf.
EX: My parent never let me do anything by myself.
>> I'm never let to do anything by myself.

V/ BỊ ĐỘNG CỦA CẤU TRÚC " NHỜ AI LÀM GÌ".

Chủ động: S + have(get) + sb + (to)Vinf
>>> Bị động: S + have/ get + st +done.
EX: I have my father repair my bike.
>> I have my bike repaired by my father.

VI/ BỊ ĐỘNG CỦA ĐỘNG TỪ ĐI SAU NÓ LÀ MỘT ĐỘNG TỪ Ở DẠNG V-ING.

Các động từ đó như : love, , dis, enjoy, fancy, hate, imagine, regret, mind, admit, involve, deny, avoid....etc

>> Chủ động: S + V + sb +Ving.
Bị động: S + V + sb/st + being + P2
EX: I you wearing this dress.
>> I this dress being worn by you.

VIII/ BỊ ĐỘNG KÉP.

1/ Khi main verb ở thời HIỆN TẠI.

Công thức:

X/ BỊ ĐỘNG CỦA CẤU TRÚC CHỦ NGỮ GIẢ " IT".

Công thức:
It + be + adj + for sb + to do st.
>>Bị động:

It + be + adj + for st + to be done.
EX: It is difficult for me to finish this test in one hour
>> It is difficult for this problem to be finished this test in one hour.

d. Các trường hợp bị động đặc biệt

1. Câu bị động có động từ tường thuật

* Những động từ tường thuật (Reporting Verbs = V₁) thường gặp:

think                consider           know                believe            say

suppose           suspect            rumour            declare           ………………

- Chủ động:      S₁ + V₁ + that + S₂ + V₂ + O + …..

* Đối với loại câu này, S thường là People/They …và thường được dịch là “Người ta ….”

Có thể biến đổi câu chủ động này theo các trường hợp sau:

a. V₁  ở Hiện Tại Đơn – V₂ sau That cũng ở Hiện Tại Đơn

Ex:       People say that he always drink a lot of wine.

–> It is said that he always drink a lot of wine.

Or:  He is said to always drink a lot of wine.

b. V₁  ở Hiện Tại Đơn – V₂ sau That ở Quá Khứ Đơn

Ex:       Villagers think that he broke into her house.

–> It is thought that he broke into her house.

Or: He is thought to have broken into her house.

c. V₁  ở Quá Khứ Đơn – V₂ sau That cũng ở Quá Khứ Đơn

Ex: The police believed that the murderer died.

–> It was believed that the murderer died.

Or: The murderer was believed to die.

* Ngoài ra, còn có thể gặp một số trường hợp khác của mẫu câu này:

d. V₁  ở Hiện Tại Đơn – V₂ sau That  ở Hiện Tại Tiếp Diễn

Ex: They think that she is living in London

–> It is thought that she is living in Lodon.      Or: She is thought to be living in London.

e. V₁  ở Hiện Tại Đơn – V₂ sau That  ở Quá Khứ Tiếp Diễn

Ex: We think that they were doing homework.

–> It is thought that they were doing homework.

–> They are thought to have been doing homework.

2) Với các động từ chỉ sự truyền khiến: have, get

+ Động từ “have”

   Eg:             I have Tom cut my hair

                 ¦ I have my hair cut (by Tom)

+ Động từ “get”

   Eg:             My mother gets me to bring the chair into the room

                  ¦My mother gets the chair brought into the room by me

+) Với động từ “need”

         Ex:       We need to water the plants everyday.

                 –> The plants need watering everyday.

Eg: My decaying tooth needs   pulling out

                                                            to be pulled out

+) Với động từ “let”: để

 Eg: He  lets me drive his car

        I’m   let               drive his car

                 allowed to

        He lets his car be driven by me

+) Với động từ “make”: bắt buộc

 Eg:          He makes me work harder

                 I’m made to work harder by him

+) Với động từ “suggest”: gợi ý

 Eg:      He suggested selling my house

            He suggested that my house should be sold

3) It + be + adj + to-V + O …..              

     –> It + be + adj + for O + to be + P.P2 ….
Ex:       It’s very difficult to study English.    

           It’s very difficult for English to be studied

*)  It is + possible + to V + O   (có thể/không thể làm gì)

                impossible

   Eg:  It’s possible to grow roses in this land

           Roses can be grown in this land

*) It’s + important + to + V + O    (cần thiết/quan trọng phải làm gì)

                essential

   Eg:     It’s important to save water              Water must be saved

*) It’s + necessary + to + V + O    (cần thiết/không cần thiết phải làm gì)

             unnecessary

      Eg:           It’s necessary to protect the environment

                      The environment should be protected

*)  It’s + tính từ sở hữu + duty to + V + O  (trách nhiệm của ai phải làm gì)

     Eg:       It’s your duty to clean the floor

                 You are supposed to clean the floor

4) Với các động từ theo sau bởi 1 V có “to”

Eg 1:    There is a lot of homework to do now

             There is a lot of homework to be done now

Eg 2:     He wants his students to do all the difficult exercises

              He wants all the difficult exercises to be done by his students

Eg 3:     He invited me to go to the party              I was invited to go to the party

5) Với các động từ theo sau bởi 1 V“ing”: remember, hate, , dis…

Eg 1:    I remembered Nam offering me a beautiful present on my birthday

             I remembered being offered a beautiful present by Nam on my birthday

Eg 2:     She disd her boyfriend cheating her

              She disd being cheated by her boyfriend

6) Với câu mệnh lệnh:

*) Chuyển câu mệnh lệnh chủ động là bị động: Dùng LET

Khẳng định: V + O             - >              Let + O + be + P.P2

Phủ định:     Don’t  + V + O     - >     Don’t let + O + be + P.P2
            Ex:       Do the exercise!     —> Let the exercise be done!

Don’t leave him alone!       —>Don’t let him be left alone!

* ) Câu mệnh lệnh chủ động cũng có thể chuyển thành bị động với SHOULD trong một số tình huống:

Ex: Don’t use the car in case it breaks down.

–> The car shouldn’t be used in case it break down.

*) Don’t let + Sb + V + you      –> Don’t let + yourself + be + P.P2

Ex:       Don’t let the others see you.  - > Don’t let yourself be seen.

Eg 1:    Come in, please!

             You are requested to come in

Eg 2:     Don’t touch this switch

              This switch is not to be touched

I live in a large family. There are eight members in it. They are my father, my mother, my grand-father, my grand-mother, myself, my brother and my two sisters.
The member of my family:
The name of my father is Shri Narottam Nayak. He is a farmer. He works in the field. My mother lives inside the house. She cooks food for us. She looks after the household. The house where I live with my family:
There are a lot of rooms in my house. These are two sleeping-rooms, one store-room, one study, one drawing-room and a kitchen. Outside the rooms there is a cow-shed and a shed for the thrashing horse. There is a very spacious courtyard in my house area.
