I'm very pleased to be here today to talk about mu mother. My mother's full name is....She is...years old.She's a teacher and she works in a big school. She's a beautiful woman with long black hair and an oval face. Specially, she has a lovely smile. In her free time she usually listens to music or goes shopping. She always spends her time to help me with my study ans tell me some funny stories before going to bed. When I was sick my mother sat next to my bed and looked after me. After a hard - working day, she's still in the kitchen to cook meal. My mom cooks very well and I all her food. She is gentle and friendly with everyone. She always takes care of all members in my family.I'm proud of my mom and I love her very mucj. I will study hard and be good child to please my mom

Teacher plays an important role in every child’s soul. To me, miss Dung-my head teacher. She taught literature from grade 10 to 12. She is tall, young, slim body with round face and bright smile. She is a devoted and responsible teacher as she always prepares carefully all the lessons before going to class. She teaches us the way to love people and becoming a good citizen for the country. Moreover, student love the way she teach, mark the score and correct the mistake. In my opinion, she is not only my teacher but she also works as my second mother at school. She helps student through thick and thin in life. Whenever facing up with any problem, I have no hesitation to share with her then she finds out the best solution or gives me some helpful advice. Additionally, if we don’t attend the class for some reasons, she immediately contacts us and asks whether we are fine. It seems that she spend her youth to learn and give deep knowledge to young generation and she really enjoys the job. Most of the time she spend for taking care of children from education to daily life. She is one of my idols because of her talent, personality and career. Therefore, almost student look up to her and thank her for kindness and responsibility.

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the neccesary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

I study in Thi Tran Van Dinh School which is one of the best schools of Ha Noi. It has a stone building. It has all facilities a good school should have-well furnished classrooms, laboratories, library and playground.

As we enter the school, there is a playground to our left and a small garden to our right. When we enter the building, the Principal’s room and the office room are to the left and the staff room to the right side. These are well furnished. There are thirty four classrooms. Our labs are well equipped. Our library has books almost on all subjects. Our Librarian is also very helpful.

Our school, all schools, has a prescribed uniform. We have to wear white or cream cotton shirts, light-blue trousers, black shoes and white socks. Girls have to wear white blouses and light-blue skirts in primary and middle classes and white shirts and light-grey skirts in higher classes. They have to tie white ribbon also.

In our school special attention is paid to behavior, cleanliness and punctuality. The most well behaved, neat and punctual student is awarded a prize at the Annual Day function.

Our Principle is a strict disciplinarian. He takes the help of P. T. Teachers too. If any one violates the rules, and is not in uniform, or makes mischief, he gets punished. But he is fair and loving. He tries to find out the reason and guides us.

Our teachers are also quite strict. They teach us with great care, check our note-books, help us when we need but if we are inattentive and don’t work properly, then we are punished.

I my school very much and I am proud that I belong to it. I shall never forget it.
