Nhiều nước trên thế giới như Mỹ, Canada, Úc, Pháp, Ấn Độ… ăn mừng ngày Valentine (14/2) là ngày của tình yêu thương. Trong ngày này, họ tặng hoa, quà, gửi thiệp cho những người mà mình yêu thương như gia đình, bạn bè, thầy cô… Một con số thống kê tại Mỹ cho thấy có khoảng 190 triệu thiệp Valentine được gửi đi mỗi năm. Một nửa số thiệp đó được gửi tới những thành viên trong gia đình (không phải chồng/vợ), và thường là dành cho trẻ em. Nếu tính đến những thiệp Valentine được tạo ra trong những hoạt động trường học thì con số lên tới 1 tỉ, và thầy cô giáo trở thành những người nhận được nhiều thiệp Valentine nhất.

Tại Việt Nam thì khác, ngày Valentine còn được gọi là ngày Lễ Tình Nhân và chính cái tên cũng đã gợi ý đây là ngày dành riêng cho những cặp tình nhân. Đường phố tràn ngập những món quà lãng mạn mời gọi những cặp đang yêu mua tặng cho nhau, báo chí đăng những bài làm thế nào để có ngày Valentine đáng nhớ với chàng/nàng… tạo nên bầu không khí chủ đạo của ngày này. Bởi thế mà khi ngày Valentine đến gần, không khó để chúng ta nhận ra, bên cạnh cảm xúc thăng hoa của những ai đang yêu là những tiếng thở dài chạnh lòng của những ai chưa tìm được một nửa của mình. Thậm chí có không ít người tham gia hội “Anti-Valentine” (Hội chống lại ngày Valentine). Và theo như lời kể của một bạn tham gia hội này thì vào ngày Valentine, có nhiều cửa hàng ăn uống chia rõ rạch ròi nơi nào dành cho những người thích Valentine và nơi nào dành cho những người ghét Valentine.

Ở Việt Nam có khá nhiều ngày lễ dành riêng cho một bộ phận nào đó trong xã hội như Ngày Của Mẹ (ngày Chủ Nhật thứ hai của tháng 5), Ngày Quốc Tế Thiếu Nhi (1/6), Ngày Quốc Tế Phụ Nữ (8/3), Ngày Phụ Nữ Việt Nam (20/10) v.v… Nhưng không giống như ngày Valentine, trong những ngày lễ này, bộ phận còn lại trong xã hội như những ông bố, những người chưa làm bố làm mẹ, người lớn, cánh đàn ông… không hề cảm thấy buồn mà họ còn chia sẻ niềm vui với những người mẹ, trẻ em, phụ nữ…  vinh dự có được ngày của riêng mình.

Trước đây, bản thân tôi không để ý đến ngày Valentine lắm vì thường bận rộn việc học hành và công việc. Nhưng năm nay, những lời chia sẻ của những người bạn trên FaceBook và cả dịch vụ cho thuê người yêu vào ngày Valentine đang rầm rộ khiến tôi phải suy ngẫm và đặt ra câu hỏi.

– Một ngày lễ đáng lẽ ra được thiết kế là để mang lại niềm vui cho đa số (nếu không nói là tất cả) mọi người. Vậy thì tại sao ngày lễ Valentine ở Việt Nam lại được tổ chức theo cách khiến cho đa số những người còn lẻ bóng trong xã hội cảm thấy mình là “kẻ đứng bên lề”?

Lạm bàn xa hơn một chút, những nhãn dán “độc thân”, “chưa có người yêu”, cũng như vô số nhãn dán khác mà xã hội gán lên cho từng người chúng ta luôn đi kèm với những đặc tính cụ thể như người đến tuổi này mà còn chưa có ai thì phải có gì không ổn (xấu hoặc không có duyên hoặc kén chọn… ). Bởi thế mà dẫn đến dịch vụ cho thuê người yêu để đi chơi với bạn bè hoặc về thăm gia đình vào dịp lễ Tết. Những giá trị tinh thần/tình cảm được “thương mại hóa” để đối phó với những nhãn dán. Và ngày Valentine tại Việt Nam lại vô tình tô đậm những lề lối xã hội đó.

Vì lý do trên mà tôi viết bài này để kêu gọi bạn, những người có cùng suy nghĩ với tôi, hãy cùng tôi thể hiện tình yêu thương đến những người quan trọng và ý nghĩa trong cuộc đời mình (không chỉ là người yêu hay chồng/vợ mình) vào ngày hôm nay và những ngày Valentine kế tiếp, để tất cả mọi người đều cảm nhận được sự ấm áp của tình người, tình thân… bởi một ngày lễ của tình yêu thương thì không bao giờ có giới hạn!

My neiborhood is not big, but it has a nice view. But, some year recently, people often do not take rubbish into recycle bins, walk on the grass, use more dirty energy, noise pollution,.... So I dis something much. Second, it not only reduces stress and bad cholesterol of body but also relaxes out spirit after a hard working day. My brother usually plays football every afternoon after work as he is in a local sport club. Moreover, football is not simply one kind of sport, it is an art because of the popularity. Since there is an increasing number of football team over the world such as: Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal with professional players. Although I am not able to play well, I love watching football matches as they are interesting and we can also learn from their technique.
