=> I live in Vietnam and there are a lot of traffic problems in big cities in my country. Firstly, there are too many people using the roads especially in the rush hour when people run out to work and school or get home from those places. Secondly, there are too many vehicles on the road that leads to traffic jams. Another problem is that many roads are narrow and bumpy. Fourthly, there are traffic accidents every day so a lot of people lose their lives or are injured. So in order to travel on the roads safely, I think we should obey the traffic rules and traffic signs as well. Moreover, carefulness is very necessary.

Nowaday, traffic problem is the biggest problem that many people care about. In VN, I think the city where have the worst traffic is Ha noi.
The first problem is the traffic jam here. Why? In the rush hours of the day, there're too many people using the road. Last year, in 2013, many bridges was built so it happen less but in order to stop this, a kind of small car should be invented, people should go to works by buses instead of going by motorbikes...
The second one, as you know, the roads in VN is not as big and clean as the roads in the big countries. They're narrow, bumpy and some dirty so it’s really hard for the road users to drive safely. I think we should raise money to make the road in VN better and better.
But everyone knows that Vietnamese people are not respect and don’t follow the traffic rules. That’s the biggest reason for everything. They wear the helmet that not strong enough to keep they safe if the accident may happen, they ride too fast on the small roads… The traffic will never can be improve if they keep doing this.
At the end, I hope the traffic in VN will improve more.

Subject: Phu Giay Festival

Dear Helen,

How are you? Every year in Vietnam in the first week of the third lunar month, the festival is March 3, tourists from all over the world eagerly make pilgrimages to Phu Day Festival, the place to worship Holy Mother Lieu Hanh, the sacred mother of the Vietnamese nation. Male. The festival aims to organize rituals, burn incense in gratitude to Saint Mother Lieu Hanh. At the same time, Lady Chua Lieu Hanh was also worshiped at many other festivals in Vietnam, but the Phu Day festival was among the most solemn, with the participation of a large number of people.

Nowadays, traffic problems is one of the biggest problems that Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, has to deal with. The first problem is traffic jams. There are too many people using the roads, especially in rush hours when everyone is in a hurry to get to work or come back home. Another problem is poor road conditions. The road is too narrow and bumpy. Moreover, many streets in Hanoi is usually flooded when it has heavy rain making it difficult to move. Traffic accidents is the biggest problem. Everyday, there are more and more accidents happening because of careless drivers: Driving after drinking alcohol, not wearing helmets, and so on. Therefore, solving traffic problems is not only the agent’s duty of Hanoi but also awareness of ourselves.

Being a volunteer is one of the best things you can do with your life. It's a great way to help other people. It's also very satisfying to know that you are not wasting your time and are helping people who need help. Many of us could and should be out there doing voluntary activities of some kind. So many volunteer organizations need extra hands. It really is easy. Just pick up the phone and offer your services.I think too many of us settle into a lazy lifestyle. We just want to come home and watch TV. Life is much more interesting when you're a volunteer.I've found it really opens your eyes to how some people live. It's sometimes sad to see how the government lets people down, but at least I'm doing my bit

Around the world there are many cuisine but I still like spaghetti the most. The main ingredients to make spaghetti are noodles, beef and tomatoes. Besides, we can add onion, carrot, bean or other kind of vegetable. At weekends, my mother and I usually go to the market, buy goods and cook spaghetti for my family instead of traditional dishes. It’s easy to cook this food. All we have to do are boiling noodles, chopping beef and making a good sauce of tomatoes. There is a tip for a perfect sauce is adding a slice of lemon into it. If there is a need of vegetable, It can be served with carrot and peas. Spaghetti supplies high nutrients and several vitamins, which good for your health especially for diet people. Moreover, spaghetti is famous for its delicious taste and convenience as fast food. It’s known as typical traditional food of Italy. Although spaghetti originate from Europe, it’s more widespread in Asia specifically Vietnam. Nowadays, It is popular food not only in Italy but also in other countries.

Have you ever got stuck in the traffic jam? I think the common answer is “yes”, especially we’re living in Viet Nam- the most terrible place of traffic jam. Not only Viet Nam, cities everywhere are battling an increase in demand and an inability to build sufficient infrastructure to cope. So all countries in the world must face to this problem as the certain point in their way of developing.

1 The real state of traffic in Viet Nam and its effectiveness.
The traffic can be a nightmare for visitors to Viet Nam for the first time. Believe it or not, there are transport rules but people don't seem really interested in following them. Three or four people on one motor bike is a common sight, particularly with the young.
The traffic is worst during the rush hour when everyone is attempting to get to work or get home quickly. Some people ride their motorbikes on the pavement rather than waiting in the traffic jam. The people walking are just as likely to get hit on the pavement as they are crossing the roads at such times. It's crazy. Road users become very impatient, constantly using their horns when there's obviously nowhere to go, even shouting at others to get out of the way. You have to be quite aggressive or you get nowhere.
the most annoying thing about the traffic is the way people use their horns. It's a habit which serves no purpose most of the time. A disturbing trend is the fashion for installing air horns on motorbikes. This is really annoying for other people and sometimes it causes accidents.
And imagine how many people are waiting in the traffic jam, it means how many hours of working and how much gasoline we are wasting. The losses we are suffering may be more than that, the losses of health as breathing the polluted air must be taken into account. Driving motorbike in big cities brings to us zero pleasure and much stress. Bad traffic kills more than one. Of course, there’re the accidents we see and fear, but there’s also a more silent killer: traffic jam that hold up ambulances, patients caught in gridlock often don’t receive the attention they need in time and often die because of it.
2 What are the reasons?
First, it’s the way people thinking. Government set up the law, people take it serious like max 1 year then everything go back the old thing. When walking around Tam Bac Lake, I see many young people not wear helmet. And in the country side, people make law… no such a thing like “ law from government”. They don’ care much about the law as well as their own safety. Wondering about that, do you know the answer? I believe that it’s the way people thinking which can’t be changed overnight.
Second, it’s the number of cars and motorbikes on the road. People may think Viet Nam is a poor developing country, but in Viet Nam there’s an incredible number of cars. Recently, government approved a policy to allow second hand car to be imported, which is only going to add the congestion in big cities.
Third, Viet Nam has a huge population( about 85 million people until now). Our infrastructure doesn’t develop adequately with the developing rate of the population. Sad to say, it’s partly caused by the corruption that rooted deeply in the construction industry. WHY WAS CANTHO COLLAPSED AND BURRIED WORKERS? Because there’re too many gaps in the law to make the corruption easily.
3 And ….. solution!
In my opinion, I give some thoughts:
· Building new roads and new lands, broadening the old roads.
· Building intelligence into the road such as roadside sensors, global positioning system…
· Improving driver’s experience and habit, teaching the children about the traffic and making them follow the law.
· Giving the high tax on automobiles especially on the imported car( such as 80%)
In my experience, I got stuck in the traffic jam and I know the feeling at that moment bearing the noise of horns, shouting, the polluted air, and wasted time. There’s nothing worse than getting stuck in traffic when you’ve some places to go. So stop it now by doing these solutions if you want to see our cities in 10 years later better than now.
