Hello, my name is Phuong. I am 13 years old. I live with my family in Vinh city, Nghe An province, Vietnam. In my country, spring is the best season of the year because it has Tet holiday. In Tet holiday, the streets are very beautiful with green trees, flowers, and funny noisy. In every house, there are a big tree with many love flowers and plants. Any things else? Yes, there are a lot of delicous drinks, cakes and candies. In Tet holiday, children have money from adults. It's so greet. We enjoy a happy Tet holiday every years. Tet is a traditional holiday of our country Vietnam. The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers. Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day. On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ
In my oppinion, i cozy and fresh Tets atmosphere. All member of family talk together about a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about any thịng " Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.

1. Dùng CAN để nói một sự việc có thể xảy ra hay ai đó có khả năng làm được việc gì.
Mẫu cụm từ: can + infinitive (can do/can see… )

Tôi biết bơi.

Bạn có nói được tiếng Anh không?
It can happen.
Điều đó có thể xảy ra.
2. Dạng phủ định của CAN là CAN’T (= CANNOT)
I’m afraid I can’t come to the party on Friday.
Tôi e rằng tôi không thể đi dự tiệc vào ngày thứ sáu.
3. (BE) ABLE TO… có thể thay thế được cho CAN (nhưng CAN vẫn được dùng nhiều hơn)

Bạn có thể nói được tiếng Anh không?
Nhưng CAN chỉ có hai dạng CAN (present) và COULD (past) nên khi cần thiết chúng ta phải dùng (BE) ABLE TO… Hãy so sánh:
I can’t sleep.
Tôi không ngủ được.
Nhưng
I haven’t been able to sleep recently. (can không có present perfect)
Gần đây tôi không ngủ được.
Tom can come tomorrow.
Ngày mai Tom có thể đến.
Nhưng
Tom might be able to come tomorrow. (can không có infinitive)
Ngày mai Tom có khả năng sẽ đến.

Today, I will tell you some things to make school greener-cleaner. Firstly, I will ask everyone not to throw rubbish in the school because it is the reason of air pollution. Secondly, I will advise everyone to plant trees and flowers in the school yard. Thirdly, I will ask my teacher to celebrate many activities to protect the environment. Finnaly, I will advise everyone not to damage trees and flowers.... If everyone try to protect the environment, the school will be greener.

My name is Quang, and I am the only son in my family. I am a 4th – year law student, and I am currently studying in Ho Chi Minh City. My little family has four people, and we live in Vinh Long province. The house is always filled with my dad’s laughter, my mother’s warm voice and my sister’s playfulness.
My father is a retired police officer, and he is working as a defense education teacher in our local high school. Perhaps he had to due with years of hard training in the military; my father is finally comfortable to show his humor in the teaching environment. In the first look, he is a tough man; but actually he is very emotional and funny. Dad is a solid pillar and a great spiritual supporter for the whole family.
Un him, my mother is a gentle but strict woman. many other women, my mother always takes care and sacrifices the best things for us. She is both our close friends and tutor in study and some private problems.
My sister is going to be a high school student soon. She is doing very well at school, and she is always rewarded by the school. She starts to look a mature girl, un the little monkey that always sks to me the previous years.
This summer I cannot go home to visit my family and play with my sister because I am about to graduate. I miss them a lot, and I hope that all will be over soon so I can return home and work near my beloved family.

Gia đình nhỏ của tôi gồm bốn người hiện đang sống tại tỉnh Vĩnh Long. Ngôi nhà lúc nào cũng ngập tràn tiếng cười của bố, giọng nói ấm áp của mẹ và tiếng đùa nghịch của em gái tôi.
Bố tôi là công an về hưu, ông đang dạy giáo dục quốc phòng trong một trường cấp 3. Có lẽ vì phải trải qua những năm tháng rèn luyện nghiêm khắc trong quân ngũ, bây giờ bố tôi mới được thoải mái bộc lộ tính hài hước của mình trong môi trường dạy học. Nhìn bề ngoài, bố là người cứng rắn nhưng bên trọng lại sống rất tình cảm và vui vẻ. Bố là trụ cột vững chắc và là điểm tựa tinh thần lớn lao cho cả gia đình.
Khác với bố, mẹ tôi là người phụ nữ dịu dàng nhưng có phần nghiêm khắc. Như rất nhiều người phụ nữ khác, mẹ tôi luôn quan tâm và hi sinh những điều tốt nhất cho anh em tôi. Với chúng tôi, mẹ vừa là người bạn thân vừa là người dẫn dắt trong học tập và cả những chuyện riêng tư.
Em gái tôi chuẩn bị vào cấp 3. Cô bé học rất giỏi và luôn được nhà trường khen thưởng. Nó đã bắt đầu ra dáng một thiếu nữ chứ không còn như một con khỉ nhỏ luôn bám lấy tôi như những năm trước.
Hè năm nay tôi không về nhà để thăm gia đình và chơi với em gái được vì tôi chuẩn bị tốt nghiệp .Tôi rất nhớ nhà và mong tất cả sẽ sớm kết thúc để tôi có thể trở về quê và làm việc ở gần gia đình thân yêu của tôi.
