My parents gave me a trip to Sapa as a present for my effort in the previous school year and the trip was an unforgettable memory to me. My family got there in the morning when the weather was cool but it began to become warmer at noon and in the afternoon but in the evening, the outside was quite cold and even having snow at night. It was such an amazing experience that I really enjoyed it. We also went sightseeing and the natural beauty here took my breath away. The romantic and peaceful atmosphere with ranges of mountains surrounded by fog soon made a strong impression on me. I also had an opportunity to try seating on a cable car and enjoyed how breathtaking the view was.That was the first time in my life that I could see mountain, forests and waterfalls with my own eyes.The next day, my mom and I spent time going to the market where many of activities took place and I bought some souvenirs as gifts for my close friend. Especially, I was totally surprised at the ability of speaking English of local residents, especially small children. Besides, I also had a chance to try local food such as Sapa Cap Nach Pork, bamboo sticky rice, Tao Meo Wine… Each has its unique flavors that all satisfied my tastes. Finally my family had to say goodbye to Sapa but I still hope to come back here one day in a nearest future.

Mình cũng có cơ hội được ngồi trên cáp treo và tận hưởng vẻ đẹp đến nghẹt thở của khung cảnh nơi đây. Đó là lần đầu tiên trong cuộc đời mình được tận mắt nhìn thấy núi, rừng và thác nước. Ngày tiếp theo mẹ và mình đã dành thời gian đi chợ nơi có rất nhiều hoạt động diễn ra và mình đã mua đồ lưu niệm để làm quà cho bạn thân. Đặc biệt mình rất ngạc nhiên với khả năng nói tiếng anh của người dân nơi đây, đặc biệt là trẻ em nhỏ. Bên cạnh đó mình cũng có cơ hội được thưởng thức đồ ăn đặc sản nơi đây như là thịt lợn cạp nách sapa, cơm lam và rượu táo mèo...Mỗi món ăn có mùi vị riêng và chúng đều hợp với khẩu vị của mình. Cuối cùng gia đình mình phải nói lời chia tay với Sapa và mình có thể quay trở lại nơi đây một ngày nào đó trong một tương lai không xa.

One of my favorite singers is Michael Jackson – a worldwide music legend. I remember the first time when I watched his performances with my friend, I was immediately attracted. His songs were heavily emphasized on the beats and his charisma was amazing.
Michael Jackson could sing very well with his particular and unique tone. He was able to adapt to a lot of music trends, and actually he was the one who created some. From the funky 70s disco to the R&B-ish 2000s, Michael Jackson proved he could make great songs regardless of the style and trend. All of his lyrics are so powerful and have a lot of meaning layers that pulled me out of depression during my miserable times and helped me to shape who I am today. He wasn’t only famous for his music, but also his moonwalk dance move. This signature move always made his performances so impressive and was an icon of the 20th century.
In his career, he got a lot of prizes: the first prize of male pop vocalists, of records and of R&B singers on Grammy in 1984. I like Michael Jackson with all his songs, and how he inspired many generations. He was a gift to the world.

Hello from New York City!
I’m so happy to write to you from my trip to the United States. I arrived in New York two days ago, and it has been so exciting! The city is huge, with tall buildings, yellow taxis, and people everywhere.
I’m staying at a nice hotel near Central Park. Every morning, I go for a walk in the park. It’s beautiful, with trees, flowers, and even some squirrels! Yesterday, I visited the Statue of Liberty. I took a boat to Liberty Island and saw the statue up close. It was amazing!
I also went to Times Square at night. It was so bright and colorful with all the lights and big TV screens. There were street performers and music. I took lots of pictures.
For food, I’ve tried New York-style pizza, which is big and thin, and I also had a cheeseburger and a hot dog from a street cart. The food here is delicious but a little different from what we eat at home.
Tomorrow, I plan to visit the Empire State Building and maybe take a tour of a museum. I want to go shopping too—there are so many stores here!
I miss you and hope we can travel together one day. I’ll tell you more when I get back. Wish you were here!
