Tiếng Anh truyền khắp nơi dưới chủ nghĩa thực dân trong thời kỳ thịnh vượng của Đế quốc Anh. 

Đế quốc Anh khởi nguồn với các thuộc địa và trạm mậu dịch hải ngoại được thiết lập từ cuối thế kỷ XVI đến đầu thế kỷ XVIII, là đế quốc rộng lớn nhất trong lịch sử nhân loại, với thế lực toàn cầu đứng đầu trong hơn một trăm năm, đánh bại cả Napoleon đại đế và khiến Tây Ban Nha - Đế quốc toàn cầu suy tàn. 

✿ ✿ ✿ Vào thời kỳ đỉnh cao của quyền lực (khoảng thế kỷ XIX), đế quốc Anh thường được ví với câu nói "Đế quốc mặt trời không bao giờ lặn", bởi lãnh thổ mở rộng ra toàn địa cầu.

Bạn đọc lại lịch sự cô đã nói ở trên ấy, nó liên quan rất nhiều tới lịch sử tại sao tiếng Anh trở thành ngôn ngữ phổ biến :v

Còn các tiếng khác lịch sử của nó không dày bằng, không có nhiều người nói nên không phổ biến hơn thôi. 

Với cả người ta cũng cho rằng tiếng Anh là 1 trong những ngôn ngữ dễ học nhất thế giới ấy, nên nó cũng là 1 phần lí do :v

Tiếng Anh trở nên phổ biến có lẽ là do nó dễ học hơn so với các ngôn ngữ khác. So sánh với ngôn ngữ phổ biến thứ hai, đó là tiếng Trung, có thể dễ dàng thấy rằng Tiếng Anh dễ học hơn rất nhiều. Mà theo như e thấy, các bạn không học được tiếng anh là do các bạn không chịu tìm hiểu về tiếng anh. Các bạn có thể học các ngôn ngữ khác như tiếng Hàn, tiếng Trung thông qua việc xem phim của nước đó. Vậy tại sao các bạn lại không học tiếng Anh theo cách đó? Nếu các bạn có hứng thú học, thì không gì là không thể
