Exercise 1: I went to the concert last night with my friends

Dear Oanh,

Thank you very much for your letter which arrived a few days ago. It was lovely to hear from you. I am sorry, I haven’t written for you such along time because I studied hard to pass the final exam. However, I had agreat weekend more than every when I went to live concerts last night with my friends. Now, I am writing to tell you how the wonderful concert is.

It is the beautiful concert I have ever taken part in with many people and the miracle of sound of piano. As you know, my pianist is Yiruma and in last concert I couldn’t believe that he appeared in my eyes and gave me a big hug after his performance. I also listen a soothing music which is played by him and other professional musicians. Only when I heard his song from the stage I feel anythings around me seem to disappear and I can fly with many stars on the sky to forget all my fears which I suffered before.

That is amazing.

Let’s come back to my live concert. It is so cool and until now I can’t forget my feeling about it. Do you often to go live concerts? What kind of music do you like listening to? Who is your favourite singer?

Exercise 2: We had dinner at a new restaurant yesterday

Dear Oanh,

Thank you very much for your letter which arrived a few days ago. It was lovely to hear from you.

I think the restaurant which you told me in the letter is very interesting. I also like to eat out and I usually go to a restaurant for dinner with my family tiwce a month. Our favourite restaurant is a traditional restaurant in Hang Bong street. It is not big but it is always busy. There are only afew tables in the restaurant and on each table is a vase with lovely flowers. There are plants in the room corners. I usually order the traditional dishes and eat them with rice. For example, fish cooked with sauce, spring roll,…and vegetable and so on. The food is deliciuous so we enjoy it very much. The service is also quick and frienfdly . My family always have pleasant evening at our favourite restaurant.

Shall we go there when you come to visit my family next time?

Thank you for our class’ photo you sent me afew days ago. I was so glad to write for you and tell you about my feeling after I receive it.

That photograph made me remember my old teacher who taught us high school. She is slim with along hair and blue eyes. Do you remember her? Our enghlish teacher, her name is Sara. Bài tập 1: Tôi đã đi đến buổi hòa nhạc đêm qua với bạn bè của tôi
Thưa Oanh,
Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều về lá thư của bạn mà đến một vài ngày trước. Đó là đáng yêu để nghe từ bạn. Tôi xin lỗi, tôi đã không viết cho bạn như cùng thời gian bởi vì tôi học chăm chỉ để vượt qua kỳ thi cuối cùng. Tuy nhiên, tôi đã có agreat cuối tuần nhiều hơn mỗi khi tôi đến sống buổi hòa nhạc đêm qua với bạn bè của tôi. Bây giờ, tôi viết thư này để cho bạn biết làm thế nào các buổi hòa nhạc tuyệt vời là.
Đây là buổi biểu diễn đẹp tôi đã từng tham gia với nhiều người và các phép lạ của âm thanh của cây đàn piano. Như bạn đã biết, nghệ sĩ piano của tôi là Yiruma và trong buổi hòa nhạc cuối cùng tôi không thể tin rằng ông đã xuất hiện trong đôi mắt của tôi và đưa cho tôi một cái ôm lớn sau màn biểu diễn của mình. Tôi cũng muốn ra ngoài ăn và tôi thường đi đến một nhà hàng ăn tối với gia đình tôi tiwce một tháng. nhà hàng yêu thích của chúng tôi là một nhà hàng truyền thống ở phố Hàng Bông. Nó không phải là lớn, nhưng nó luôn luôn bận rộn. Chỉ có bảng afew trong nhà hàng và trên mỗi bàn là một chiếc bình với hoa đáng yêu. Có nhà máy ở các góc phòng. This is just a quick letter to let you know that . I’m fine . We are all working quite hard because the exams are only a few-weeks away , but our teacher(1) SAYS he thinks we’ll do well .

Anyway , we(2) HAD a wonderful time at half term . We went off to the Paris for a (3) FEW days with my friends and we went on a guided tour . We saw most of the famous sights (4) LIKE the louver , here they have an amazing collections of paintings , and the Eiffel Tower . Then we went down to the South of France (5) BY train . It was so (6) FAST the whole journey was only about four hours . We (7) SPENT a little time in Nice and in Cannes as well , and we all (8) REALLY enjoyed it . On our last day we went to a small island (9) CALLED the llea des Pelerins , and we saw the castle where they (10) USED to keep the ‘ Man in the Iron Mask’ . All in all , we had a great time and the weather was really good as well .

Anyway, I must go now as I’ve got to do a lot of homework for tomorrow . Will you write soom ?
