When Jackie eventually looked up she couldn't believe who she saw standing in front of her. She didn't even believe where she was now - it was not her home! The old woman who was standing in front of Jackie wore a black blouse with long sleeves and had a jackbot had flowers on it. The sleeves were too long for her hands and were too big. She had fair hair and green eyes. Her trousers were green and didn't touch her ankle. The lady looked at Jackie for a moment. Jackie doubted that she was a kind of inhuman creatures that had brought her here. Her doubt was right - the kidnapper, the old woman was a witch. Her name was Witch Ferralle. She often hypnotized human with her meaningless look. But her look with Jackie didn't hypnotize the girl. The reason was the witch's look wasn't useful with young children. And it was all Jackie's knowledges about this evil witch. Her mother always told her whenever she got to the forest alone: " You must beware of that witch. The best way to avoid her is never go deep into the forest." And Jackie didn't know which way did Ferralle kidnap her!
Jackie watched around. She was sitting on an armchair, lying on cushions. Ferralle was nowhere to be found now. Jackie didn't know where was that witch. The armchair which Jackie was sitting on was placed on a scarlet carpet with pictures of roses on it, close to the fireplace. Ferralle didn't use the fireplace to warm herself in the winter - she used it for a terrible purpose that no one knew. There were so many secrets about this witch made Jackie curious. She just wanted to stand up instead of sitting here. She went to the living room. A square table was placed at the centre of the room. On it, was a square plate contained teapot and teacups. The teapot was bigger than the teacups, made by ceramic, with a fat tummy had paintings of houses on it. At the left of the table was a long sofa had green cushions on it. At its right was two purple armchairs with orange cushions on it. Jackie remembered what her father told her about the witch's living room: " Don't sit on the sofa nor the armchairs. They may make you lose consciousness." Next to the sofa was a pot of frangipani. The leaves were green, but the tree never gave flowers. If it did, the flowers weren't beautiful. Jackie went out of the living room. She got to the kitchen. The witch was there, but in her disguise as an old woman as Jackie had seen.

The witch was reading a book that contained formulas to mix potions. Seeing Jackie, she stood up. " What do you want from me?", she asked, and Jackie could hear the cruelness in her voice.

" May I go out? I'm sick of staying in here all day," said Jackie.

" Of course, but just go around the garden for half an hour and no more longer," Ferralle nodded.

Jackie got to the garden. She thought about her plan to escape from the witch. But first, she must kill the harmful witch, since Ferralle would catch her again anyway. It was not very easy for her to do so. Half an hour, Jackie walked around the garden. Finally, she found a solution that could help her out.

It was a black drop of water. Jackie knew about it after spending half an hour reading about it. She collected it by opening her hand and put under a leaf. A black drop of water fell in her hand and she put it in a small package.

" Girl," called Ferralle, " come in."

Jackie entered the kitchen. Ferralle had gone. Her porridge was on the table. " She will eat the porridge anyway," thought Jackie, putting the black drop of water in the bowl. She got out.

A few minutes later, the witch had her lunch. But after taking the first spoon of porridge, her face turned red. She fell from her chair and laid on the ground, dead.

Jackie got out of the cottage and returned home. When she reached the door, she shouted excitedly: " Everyone, no more worrying about Witch Farralle!"
