School violence is a matter of great concern over the past few years. The target audience is usually secondary school and high school students. Videos containing images of school violence are shared widely on the internet every day. So what is school violence? How harmful are they to the physical and mental health of those who are the victims of school violence?
School violence is acts of violence, unethical behavior towards one's friend, is an insult to the mind and body of others, causing serious harm. Firstly, because of the rapid development of social networks, students can easily be exposed to harmful entertainment media such as watching violent movies, fighting clips, violent images, or videos, action games... Families lack responsibility in managing and educating their children, relying on schools and society. Parents choose improper methods of educating and managing their children. The next is due to the lack of close coordination of the authorities, lack of responsibility in the prevention of juvenile delinquency. The school curriculum is overloaded, the management is not strict, and the moral education program is inadequate. The lack of focus on ethics also causes school violence cases in schools. Finally, it is because the students themselves are in the thoughtless age, like to express their egos, unable to control their emotions, leading to conflict resolution by violence.
Victims of school violence will also be physically and mentally hurt, psychologically always in a state of uncertainty, fear, sometimes even leading to depression. Those who cause violence must be disciplined and punished by the school and society.
What must we do to limit and move towards eliminating school violence? Families and schools need good education and create a friendly and healthy learning environment for students to study. Let's talk and share more with each other instead of taking action. Let's love each other and don't hurt them. And let school violence be a thing of the past!
