Looking back on that day, we all agreed it was my greatest victory. I rushed down the stairs, laighing happily. In my hand was the letter for which i had been waitting for so long. This is the letter from the contest organizer that I have registered.
The content of the letter wrote : " Congratulations, Jenny. You have successfully qualified our first qualifier. The next round of the competition will take place on October 27th in Ischool. You should have the most complete preparation for the competiton. Good luck and see you at the competition". I looked at the letter and remembered the first round.
The first round of the competition took place 1 month ago.This is an english contest. Each contestant will have to do 150 question in 45 minutes. The next winner are those who complete the test on time and are given in order from high to low. 5 people will be to the next round. And I am one of those 5 people. Actually i and jennifer had the same points so we had to do another round of speaking. The topic was "school violence". We had 5 mins to prepared and 5 mins to talk. and both of us did a good job on our presentation. The jury took a lot of time but couldn't choose a winner. So they decided to let us debate our own speech. After approximately 20 mins, i win. And as i said above, we all agreed it was my greatest victory.
