Dear some English-speaking friends,
 I'm very happy to introduce to you one of the most special festivals. It is called Tet or Lunar New Year. For the Vietnamese people, the Lunar New Year is the most important festival of the year because it is the beginning of the year, so Tet is celebrated very carefully. And according to each region of the country, Vietnamese has different ways. My city is in the north so I usually celebrate Tet in my way. On the days before Tet, everyone in my city prepares to welcome Tet. The atmosphere is very bustling. The Tet holiday starts from the twenty-eighth of December. We started decorating houses and preparing food for Tet. My dad bought a peach tree to decorate the house. I hang decorations on the tree to make it more beautiful. My mother wrapped Banh Chung. This is a long-standing custom. On New Year's Eve, our family often gather together to watch the fireworks. Then, my younger brother and I said "happy new year" to my parents and received the lucky money from them. And on New Year's, we wear nice clothes to visit relatives. We send each other wishes for health and luck. Tet is very meaningful to Vietnamese people, and these are all my Tet holidays.
